Quinton Reynolds is omitted from Burt Reynolds’ will “deliberately”

    Published on

Before he passed away, Burt Reynolds excluded his lone kid from his will. According to the court docs that TMZ received, the venerable actor intentionally omitted his 30-year-old son Quinton Anderson Reynolds.

Reynolds nominated his niece Nancy Lee Brown Hess as the executor of his will, which he signed in October 2011, before passing away on September 6 after a heart attack.

Hess is now in charge of Reynolds’ property, which has been put into a trust, as the personal representative of his estate.

Although it appears to indicate that he has not disinherited his son, Reynolds, who was 82 years old, only made one mention of Quinton in his will.

According to court records, Burt Reynolds purposefully left his 30-year-old son Quinton Anderson Reynolds out of his will. The two were last seen together in 2004.

Reynolds stated in the will that he had already established a trust through which he supported Quinton (seen here with his mother, Lori Anderson, in 2017).

He is expressly left out of this, my last will, because my declaration of trust made provisions for him during my lifetime.

According to the court papers, Reynolds established a trust for Quinton years ago.

According to reports, Quinton will still receive funds from the trust, which might have been established to evade estate taxes.

Given that Quinton is a beneficiary of the trust, Hess might have been appointed as the executor of the estate to avoid potential conflicts of interest.

In 1988, Reynolds and his second wife, Loni Anderson, adopted Quinton.

Reynolds referred to Quinton as his “best achievement” just before he passed away.

Reynolds told Closer Weekly, “He’s a beautiful young man and is now working as a camera assistant in Hollywood.”

I’m proud of him since he never asked for assistance with his profession; he handled everything independently. I adore him greatly.

During Reynolds’ contentious and highly publicized divorce from Anderson, the father and son temporarily fell out of contact but recently reestablished their relationship.

Anderson, an actress, and Reynolds were wed from 1988 to 1994.

Hollywood’s “golden couple” parted in the early 1990s, shocking many and dominating magazine covers.

As the former couple’s divorce became public, Reynolds made information about their sex life—or lack thereof—public.

At the time, he said on Good Morning America, “I don’t see how she can be in absolute astonishment.”

How can you be surprised if your husband hasn’t physically touched you in the biblical sense for almost three years?

Anderson is a lousy mother and an underemployed actress, according to Reynolds, who also claimed to have caught Anderson cheating on him.

In his story, he asserted Anderson ordered her to dress “like a celebrity” and purchased “everything in triplicate.”

In 1988, Reynolds and his second wife, Loni Anderson, adopted Quinton. Here is a photo of them from 1993.

When Reynolds and Anderson divorced in 1992, it was a very public and acrimonious separation for the father and son, but they reconnected.

According to what he wrote, “I got her a platinum American Express card with a $45,000 credit limit.” She reached her limit in 30 minutes.

According to People, Anderson accused Reynolds of physically abusing her at least 12 times in 1995 while under the influence of drugs.

She further alleged that he had not paid the $15,000 child support on time.

Reynolds admitted to the magazine in 2015 that he thought marrying Anderson was a “very bad move” and expressed regret over it.

He remarked, “I should have known that you don’t wed an actress.” It wasn’t candy and roses, she said.

Despite their unpleasant past, Anderson only had good things to say about Reynolds following his passing.

When the movie legend was having financial difficulties, a friend bought the property and rented it to him for a reasonable fee. Reynolds spent his dying years at this Florida house (above).

She praised Burt as a “great director and actor” in a statement. He spent 30 years as Quinton’s father and 12 years as a significant part of my life.

We will miss him, especially his wonderful laugh.

At the time of his passing, Reynolds reportedly had a net worth of $5 million.

Despite having a peak salary of $10 million, the Smokey and the Bandit actor had endured decades of financial hardship.

In 1996, Reynolds filed for bankruptcy, disclosing that he owed more than $10 million.

After a friend bought the home and rented it to him for a modest fee while the movie legend suffered, he spent his dying years at his Florida house.

The following year, Reynolds sold his long standing waterfront house in Jupiter for $3.3 million to his close friend and neighbor, real estate magnate Charles Modica.

According to Modica, “He was going through a lot of stress and pressure at that time. I phoned him and told him I would like to be a part of helping him.”

Reynolds sold Charles Modica, a real estate mogul friend and neighbor, his longstanding waterfront property in Jupiter in 2015 for $3.3 million.

Before his career took a turn for the worse in the middle of the 1980s, Reynolds was one of the most bankable performers in the movie business at the height of his success.

For $700,000, Reynolds purchased the property in 1980.

Reynolds was a major male sex icon of the 1970s and one of the most bankable performers in the film industry at the height of his career.

Before his career worsened in the middle of the 1980s, he had a string of box-office hits.

Reynolds bounced back in 1997 with a nomination for an Oscar for his supporting performance as a porn director in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Boogie Nights, a part he hated, and a win for his work in the 1990–1994 television series Evening Shade for which he received an Emmy.

Reynolds admitted to Vanity Fair in 2015 that his biggest regret was not spending more money despite having a long history of financial difficulties.

He said I would have had a lot more fun and spent more money. It is always feasible to increase one’s spending.
